Monthly Rodas

CDO Australia is now organizing Monthly Rodas in Brisbane. Our next Roda will be on the 20th May 2012 (third Sunday of the month) starting from 3pm until 5pm. Everyone is welcome!

Capoeira Workshops with CM Eurico

This workshop was organised by Nina van der Plas from The Free Spirit Dance & Music School in Nambour, Sunshine Coast, AU. Classes were tailored for fresh-beginners and experienced students came along to help and support them.

Capoeira in Schools

CDO Australia is currently teaming up with the Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT) and Mao no Chao Australia to deliver a series of Capoeira classes for Refugee Children in a number of State Schools across Brisbane. Our first term with the Coorparoo State School is almost complete. Photos and videos coming soon. If you would like to get involved with the program please drop us a line.

*FLASH NEWS* :

Come join us to finish off our first school program in Coorparoo with a big roda for the kids! Meet Thursday the 10th of May at 10AM in the parking!
We will also be shooting a short film to the document the school program.

Coolangatta Classes On Hold

Eurico is going to Brazil for a small surgery in mid-August and will be back later this year. Until then, classes in Coolangatta will be on hold. But stay tuned!

August guest course at the Basement

Tuesday Class, UQ International House (2nd August)
